Hi guys, My name is Jeffrey Ferreira and I’m the Art Director for Under Siege.
Since we started the dev diary, you have seen glimpses of these creatures in some of the screenshots and in the gameplay video so we decided to give you some insight on some of them.
Grunts
These creatures look like humans and carry various types of armour protecting their body. Their skin looks like it’s burning without fire, and you can actually see smoke emanating from their bodies. The sword is their weapon of choice, but you can also see them fighting with axes and some other unconventional weapons. Usually they attack in groups.
Stingers
This resistant slime slug is capable of making a long range acid spit that can corrode metal. You may want to avoid getting too close to it, cause with those sharp teeth and tail end, it sure knows how to defend itself.
Crawlers
If there’s one word that defines this one, I would go for “fast”. This kind of insects usually attack in large groups and have incredible mobility through difficult terrain, they can go through a harsh terrain slope and surprise you when you least expect.
Ok, that’s all for now. See you soon.
